Take a brief peak into the Fred Brito Story
In 1976 as a former United States Marine and caught up with "A" listed
Hollywood celebrities, Fred Brito lived in the
lap of luxury high atop the Hollywood Hills with actor Paul Lynde.
Fast cars, unlimited amounts of money, weekends in Palm Springs
with Frank Sinatra, Rock Hudson, Jim Nabors and Liberace
and countless others.
Four years later, when it was all taken away,
Fred Brito tried to continue the facade and ended up
committing minors crimes that sent him to prison.
Released from prison, he tried to get a job,
however, no one would hire him because of his record,
much less give him a Second Chance.
Homeless, hungry and dirty and living on the streets of Los Angeles
he only had two choices. Get a job, or commit a crime.
Going back to prison was not an option.
He knew that no one was going to help him but himself.
So he picked himself up,
studied at the local library and reinvented himself.
One way or another he was going to get a job
and earn a living.
So, Fred Brito fabricated a resume and amazingly conned
his way into being hired as the CEO, President, Executive Director
or General Manager of over twenty-five of America's
top Corporations, Five Diamond Hotels, Law Firms
and Non-Profits.
For years he earned six figure salaries and
became a powerful master of business.
He became an impostor, and pretended to be a Psychiatrist,
Attorney, a Catholic Priest and even a Philharmonic Conductor.
While in these high level positions he controlled all of the
company financial assets, yet never stole a cent.
He is one of very few that has been able to
master the art of fund raising.
He raised six million dollars for the Red Cross
in California for Katrina as
Chief Development Officer.
As Executive Director of Development
and Patient Relations at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA,
he raised over six million dollars in six months
through his connections to the Hollywood and Corporate elite.
He also has a keen and unique business acumen.
He was hired to fix struggling companies
riddled in red ink. He would later leave them in much better
financial situation and in the black.
He only has a high school diploma.
For the past five years he has been trying to change
his life through good works, despite the disbelief of many.
Today, he lives in Las Cruces, New Mexico and is the caregiver
to his father who suffers from Alzheimer's.
But most of all, he is truly sorry for what he has done to others,
and intends to demonstrate his redemptive spirit
through utmost honesty and in service to the disenfranchised.
"The Fred Brito Story"
An amazing journey to survive in a judgmental
world where Second Chances rarely happen.
This is a provocative saga of
determination, perseverance and never losing hope.
This is a story down the road towards redemption.
